Accessibility at NA0D
Everyone should be able to use this site. I’m working to make NA0D.com accessible to people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnifiers, high-contrast modes, and other assistive technologies.
Standards I aim for
I’m aligning the site with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA where practical.
What I’m doing on this site
- Use of semantic HTML with clear headings and landmark regions (header, main, footer, nav).
- Descriptive link text (no “click here” where possible).
- Meaningful
alttext on images; decorative images marked as decorative. - Keyboard-friendly forms and controls, with visible focus styles.
- Player/stream embeds labeled and grouped with captions/titles where available.
- Consistent color/contrast; supports browser zoom (Cmd/Ctrl + +/-).
Keyboard tips
- Tab / Shift+Tab to move between links and form fields.
- Enter or Space to activate a focused button/link.
- I include a “Skip to main content” link for screen readers and keyboard users (see below).
Known issues & ongoing work
- Some older, migrated pages may still have missing/short
alttext; I’m updating these over time. - Third-party embeds (e.g., YouTube players, Icecast directory) are generally accessible but not under my full control.
- If you find something broken for your screen reader or keyboard, please tell me—details help me fix it quickly.
Report an accessibility problem
If you encounter any barriers, please contact me and include the page URL and what you were trying to do. I’ll take a look as soon as I can.
Compatibility notes
Pages are tested with current versions of major browsers and are designed to work with common assistive tech (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver) on desktop and mobile. If something fails in your setup, I’d like to know. I'm trying.
